Frequently Asked Questions

Passphrases are easier to remember while providing high entropy. A 5-word passphrase can be stronger than a random 10-character password, and much easier to type.

For most purposes, 4-5 words provide excellent security (50-55+ bits of entropy). Use 6+ words for high-security accounts.
